Wiki's can be used to improve classroom instruction by providing the students with a different avenue of communicating with their instructor. The teacher can post information from previous classes or even post assignments where the child can view with the help of their parents. Also the teacher can use this medium as a means of notices or announcements.

REFLECTION

The piece produced was a website displaying information and assignments on Vertebrates and Invertebrates. The challenges faced in creating this piece was to upload a previous word document onto one of my pages and also creating new pages for the website.I overcame these challenges by adding the previous document to my google drive and the uploading it from there and with creating the new pages for the website I had to use a blank template versus the others that was available and just change my theme. The piece could have been improved if there was a template available that suited my topic.

Movie Maker

Videos can be used to improve classroom instruction because a teacher can cater to a different learning style. Some students may be visual learners and also students would be excited when viewing the video.

REFLECTION

The piece produced was a video depicting Vertebrates and Invertebrates. This piece will be used in a Science class where the students will watch the video to get an idea of the different groups of animals. After the students view the video they will be required to record two (2) names of animals seen in the different sub-headings of the video. The challenges faced in creating the video was getting the first music to cut and fade out to allow the new music to play . The piece could be improved by using a wider range of animals and also placing the pictures more attractively in the video.

Vertebrates and Invertebrates

Vertebrates are a large number of animals know by their backbone or spinal column. Invertebrates are animals that do not have a backbone or spinal column.
